Richard has designed spectacular jewelry for more than 30 years, beginning as a fine arts and illustration major at New York City’s School of Visual Arts. After graduating, he transitioned from student to professor, teaching design in NYC at the Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology.
His natural and vintage themes have captured the hearts of jewelry lovers, while his talent and skill have caught the eyes of jewelry experts. Richard’s style has been recognized with numerous awards, including the American Gem Trade Association Spectrum Award, Diamonds Today Award, International Pearl Design Competition, and the Pearl Utopia International Design Prize.
